Installing A 19mm Arreche Carburetor

I got a 19mm Arreche in. I must say, it lives up to what I have heard about it. It appears to be a nice quality carb, with great features. As you can see here, it has the stock style enricher and cable setup and it is designed to swap right in.

A fitting in the bowl of the carb allows easy access to the main jet.

I picked up a shielded K&N breather filter to go with the carb.

Everything fit in pretty well.

The shield should keep road debris and moisture out pretty well. Being open up top should allow it to get plenty of fresh air.

The carb came with 60, 80, and 95 main jets. I started with an 80 main jet and never checked the pilot jet. The needle clip in the middle (of 3) positions. I got the idle adjusted without much effort.

I'm stuck with the 60, 80, and 95 main jets and the 20 pilot jet for right now. The 80 is too rich and the 60 is too lean. It appears to be closer with the 80. I've ordered actual Arreche Jets now.

80 Main Jet : Runs pretty well, but stalls when the throttle is released both after driving WOT or even revving while stopped.

60 Main Jet : Hesitation. Tries to die after a couple seconds of WOT.

I got my jets in and went with a 75 main. Here are the plugs I've pulled out of it from normal driving and W.O.T./kill. These are with a 20 pilot and 75 main (19mm Arreche, K&N filter). The center plug only has 2 miles on it, and it's not orange like the photo turned out, it's actually caramel.
