Cheap Parts Storage

I was getting tired of storing my carburetor jets in Zip-Loc bags. I would dump them out and sort through them to find the jet I was looking for everytime I tuned a carburetor. I looked at jet boxes that often sell in the $10 price range and decided to check around for something cheaper. I've got lots of large 24 compartment storage boxes around for bolts, nuts, and other parts which sell for around $5 at Harbor Freight, Wal-Mart, Target, and others, but they are a little large for jet storage.

I found these smaller 36 compartment storage units in Wal-Mart for $3.11 each. I picked up for for $12.44, around the price of one jet box from many retailers.

These boxes work great for storing carburetor jets without having to sort through the whole pile to find what you need.

These cases work great for sorting out roller weights as well. Getting roller weights mixed up and guessing or having to weigh them to sort them out is no fun.
